COLLECTIONS

These works often take several months to complete as the textures and markings  tend to grow and change over time. At some point, I find a kind of truth in the layers or a clear sense of an ending. The work takes on a life of its own and is ready to leave the studio. Time spent in the studio working is as important as the breaks in between which are a kind of incubation period.
